I knew it was a myth but I Googled it anyway. From ABC News: "The dentures are made from gold, ivory, lead, human and animal teeth (horse and donkey teeth were common components)." Guess he was a little long in the tooth even after a new set. ;-)

I'm playing today. Here is my 55.

Hi G-man, your place seems familiar. I might have come here before, but I'm here today because of Brian linking up to this, and I couldn't resist writing something for this myself.

This was interesting to read. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go fumigate all my cupboards and shelves - basically all things made of wood - because along with interesting, it was certainly a bit creepy! Well written :)

FOR BRIAN ON HIS BIG DAY

Only just noted it's your birthday
and that you wanted a quickie
(of words that is...)
so thought, what the hey
there are things I can say
You're the top, you're the best
the cream of the rest
and your lines are I find
so often more than kind
so here's to another good year!

(hope the title didn't have to be included in the word count 'cause the poem is 55 words bang on!)

(And please just delete this comment, as it was the only way I had to communicate with you) And do have a kick-ass weekend!! Thanks.
